I had the huge privilege of having Diane as my supervised teacher, and couldn’t have asked for a better mentor. She is incredibly knowledgeable, supportive and FUN! What stands out most is the warm and welcoming community Diane has built over the years. Her passion for Pilates and for helping others learn shines through in everything she does. I’m so grateful for everything I’ve learned from her, both in movement and teaching ❤️
I first met Diane when I was training as a Pilates teacher (she supervised my teacher training) and I am so glad I did. Diane is a fantastic and incredibly supportive teacher. Her Pilates classes are fun, inclusive and we always did something a little bit different every week. I definitely found myself feeling more aligned and stronger after her classes. I also highly recommend her 1.1 sessions. I was struggling with hip pain and after just one 1.1 session with Diane it completely disappeared! I also love the community feel she brings to each class. Every Wednesday we'd head out for coffee as a class group, which is a really lovely addition :)
I’ve been training with Diane for over two years, both in her group classes and 1:1s. I would highly recommend her classes which are always just the right kind of challenging and a whole lot of fun. Her eagle eye, clear and creative verbal cues, tactful corrections, enviable movement (one day I will be able to extend as beautifully as she does in Cobra!) and wonderful sense of humour make her an inspiring teacher. Diane has worked with physiotherapists for many years and as such brings a wealth of rehabilitation knowledge to every class, too. When I’ve struggled with my lower back issue, she knows exactly how to get me pain-free and limber again. One of Diane’s other 'superpowers' is her instinctive knack for community building – her lively warmth includes everyone immediately, and her Friday and Saturday classes are always followed by a welcome cup of coffee or juice at a lovely local coffee shop. Diane's generosity and expertise are also visible in the hundreds of hours she spends every year as a supervising teacher for Body Control Pilates’ teacher training students. In fact, she gently guided me to become a Pilates teacher, helping me find my own voice. Merci beaucoup, Diane!
