Aisha has helped me so much with my lower back pain using slow but effective exercises. She’s super attentive and tailors everything to my preferences. I really enjoy my sessions with her.
I have had 1:1 pilates with Aisha for over a year following shoulder surgery and a back injury. She has helped build up my strength and really help with recovery. She pays great attention to detail with specific exercises to strengthen the areas which need improvement whilst also balancing the rest of the body. Highly recommended!
Aisha is highly experienced and excellent teacher. She is fantastic at explaining the exercises. Her studio is a beautiful and peaceful haven. I leave feeling positive and energised after a session completely tailored to me.
Aisha Tannahill Private Pilates offers 2 pilates disciplines. Each one is suited to different goals — read the breakdown below to see which fits.
Reformer pilates is performed on a specialised piece of equipment using adjustable spring resistance. It targets deeper stabilising muscles than mat-based pilates and is widely used for posture correction, core strength, injury rehabilitation and pre/postnatal training.
Mat pilates uses your bodyweight on a padded mat, often with small props like resistance bands, blocks and pilates balls. It's the most accessible form of pilates — no heavy equipment, lower price points, and easier to continue at home.
