So great to have a Pilates studio in the area! Love that there are only 8 reformers so the classes are small and personal. Instructors I’ve taken classes with are lovely and helpful. I make sure to fit a class in every week!

Point is a wonderful pilates studio with great instructors who always make you feel welcomed. Joanna especially has been amazing at helping me with a re-introduction to pilates and has made me feel supported while still challenging my skills and helping me learn.
The worst Pilates class I have been to. When I walked in, the instructor immediately questioned whether I had done Pilates before and then asked “Reformer?” in a way that felt condescending. When I said yes, she looked at me like she did not believe me, which was not a welcoming start. The class was labeled mixed level but was extremely easy and not challenging at all. The routine felt unstructured and did not flow, almost like the moves were being made up on the spot. I did not feel properly worked during class and had zero muscle soreness the next day, which says a lot. The reformers were also disappointing. The straps were not aligned properly, and I had to get off mid class to adjust them myself, causing me to miss part of the sequence. The machines were placed so close together that I could have kicked the person next to me when my legs were in the straps if we were not taking turns going in circles. It felt cramped and poorly set up. Overall, it felt like a waste of money. The only positive was the music.
Point Pilates - Greenwich offers 2 pilates disciplines. Each one is suited to different goals — read the breakdown below to see which fits.
Reformer pilates is performed on a specialised piece of equipment using adjustable spring resistance. It targets deeper stabilising muscles than mat-based pilates and is widely used for posture correction, core strength, injury rehabilitation and pre/postnatal training.
Mat pilates uses your bodyweight on a padded mat, often with small props like resistance bands, blocks and pilates balls. It's the most accessible form of pilates — no heavy equipment, lower price points, and easier to continue at home.
