I've always found it really hard to find a form of exercise I truly love and want to stick to - that was until I started coming to Se7en East. The instructors are the loveliest people you will meet, they're attentive, supportive and easy to get on board with. I've been coming for 2 months now and I couldn't be happier with the mental and physical health benefits. In particular, I couldn't recommend Lizi's classes enough, she's has motivated and pushed me to achieve moves I didn't think I'd be capable of doing (plus her music is great). I look forward to my classes every week! :)
Great studio with fantastic teachers. Have been going to Se7en for over 2 years now, the classes are varied with lots of options for progressions. The teachers are great at providing advice, corrections when needed and lots of encouragement. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough, it’s addictive.
SE7EN PILATES offers 2 pilates disciplines. Each one is suited to different goals — read the breakdown below to see which fits.
Reformer pilates is performed on a specialised piece of equipment using adjustable spring resistance. It targets deeper stabilising muscles than mat-based pilates and is widely used for posture correction, core strength, injury rehabilitation and pre/postnatal training.
Mat pilates uses your bodyweight on a padded mat, often with small props like resistance bands, blocks and pilates balls. It's the most accessible form of pilates — no heavy equipment, lower price points, and easier to continue at home.

Honest, specific answers about this studio.
2 of 3 recent reviews mention the instructors in positive terms — words such as "knowledgeable", "attentive" and "encouraging" recur most frequently. Members citing specific cues, form corrections or named instructors is a strong sign of relationship-led teaching rather than transactional class delivery. If instructor depth matters for your decision (particularly for clinical or prenatal-focused pilates), this is a useful positive signal. One recent member put it this way: "The instructors are the loveliest people you will meet, they're attentive, supportive and easy to get on board with." — rosie.
