Ana is such an amazing pilates teacher. Very much into details, caring and professionnal. I very much recommend her.
Ana is SUCH a good Pilates instructor. I’ve been doing classes with her remotely for 3 years and her passion for and understand of how our bodies work is infectious. She tailors her lessons so well for any issues or things we want to focus on. And she’s super lovely!
I really enjoy Ana's classes. She has such a lovely energy both in real life and in her online classes, she is so encouraging and inclusive. Professional and knowledgeable, Ana gives clear cues allowing us time to adjust where we need to while keeping the flow of the class. Ana asks us for feedback, about areas we'd like to work on for example, and that's always reflected in the classes. Whether you're new to Pilates, very experienced or somewhere in between you will learn a lot with Ana while having a lovely time.

Reformer pilates is performed on a specialised piece of equipment using adjustable spring resistance. It targets deeper stabilising muscles than mat-based pilates and is widely used for posture correction, core strength, injury rehabilitation and pre/postnatal training.
Mat pilates uses your bodyweight on a padded mat, often with small props like resistance bands, blocks and pilates balls. It's the most accessible form of pilates — no heavy equipment, lower price points, and easier to continue at home.

Honest, specific answers about this studio.
one of the 3 recent reviews mention the instructors in positive terms — words such as "knowledgeable", "attentive" and "encouraging" recur most frequently. Members citing specific cues, form corrections or named instructors is a strong sign of relationship-led teaching rather than transactional class delivery. If instructor depth matters for your decision (particularly for clinical or prenatal-focused pilates), this is a useful positive signal. One recent member put it this way: "She has such a lovely energy both in real life and in her online classes, she is so encouraging and inclusive." — Emma Illingworth.
Most UK boutique reformers start newcomers with a beginner-tagged class or a 1-1 intro session rather than dropping them into a mixed-level group. Arrive 10-15 minutes early; you'll be shown carriage adjustment, spring tension and basic safety. Wear grip socks (mandatory at most studios — they sell pairs for £8-15 if you don't have them) and form-fitting clothing that lets the instructor see your alignment. The first class is the steepest learning curve — by your third session, the equipment feels much more intuitive.
