I’ve been doing the Melt Method classes with Liron for a few months now at the gym. I’m interested in the lymphatic system and fascia, so when I saw this class I thought it would be a great fit for me and complement my health and fitness classes. Liron is a great instructor. She gives clear guidance and demonstrations, and helps correct your form if needed. I’ve also done one of her workshops which focused on hips and lower back. This workshop was really good for me as I have lower back issues. It’s good to learn more about the method in a smaller group setting. During the classes you are guided to assess where your body holds stress by lying on the floor. I find that my shoulder blades and coccyx feel the pressure and my lower back feels over arched when I do the first lying down assessment. Liron guides you to use the foam roller or balls to hydrate your fascia. After the Melt exercises I can feel my body relax and feel my rib cage and glutes relax and my lower back “melt” into the mat. It’s really quite extraordinary how different and relaxed I feel after the exercises and I usually sleep really well after class. I’m going to continue with the classes and attend Liron’s workshops. If you are looking for a class that helps you identify where you hold stress in your body and guide you how to physically relax your body I would certainly recommend Liron’s classes. Learning about how to hydrate your fascia is very interesting too.
