Having started pilates as a complete beginner in November 2025, I am now an enthusiastic convert! This is due to the approach that Pilates takes to movement, flexibility and strengthening, and the superb teaching of the team at the Hub. Following a hip replacement and having enjoyed yoga for years, I found that the temptation to over stretch in yoga was slowing down my recovery and causing pain. By balancing strengthening exercises within the natural movement range of joints and muscles, traditional pilates, as taught in the Pilates Hub, delivered mobility and strengthening exercises that were transformative. I went from having endless back and hip pain to being pain free and much more mobile. I feel that the team work really hard to understand their clients' needs, which means their aim of establishing a pilates focused community around the Hub really rings true. The teaching is thoughtful, encouraging and upbeat, and the small class sizes mean you often get 1 to 1 attention. The studio is also light and cheery with room to move around all the machines. It's a happy place. I am really impressed by the Pilates Hub and can't recommend highly enough.
