This is the first time I have enjoyed and looked forward to any sort of exercise. Amelia is a wonderful instructor. I have been having 1-1 sessions and the benefit has been fantastic. I can highly recommend Amelia as a Pilates instructor.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience doing Pilates with Amelia! Every time I finish a class, I feel rejuvenated and my body feels amazing. Those little niggles and aches seem to melt away, and I always leave feeling taller and more aligned. A huge shoutout to Amelia, our incredible instructor. Her unique approach of blending Pilates, stretching, and relaxation into each session is truly transformative. It’s clear she puts a lot of thought and care into composing every class, making each one a special experience. Amelia’s dedication and passion shine through, and it’s unlike anything I’ve seen in other classes. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my Pilates practice now. I’m really hoping she starts offering online classes soon so I can enjoy her sessions more than once a week!
I have been taking Amelia’s classes for a couple of months. Amelia explains everything really well and provides different levels for each exercise. Each week Amelia changes the class so it’s slightly different and doesn’t get boring. She’s very calming but I feel like I’ve had a great workout when I’ve completed a class. Would highly recommend Amelia.
Pilates with Amelia Frances offers 2 pilates disciplines. Each one is suited to different goals — read the breakdown below to see which fits.
Reformer pilates is performed on a specialised piece of equipment using adjustable spring resistance. It targets deeper stabilising muscles than mat-based pilates and is widely used for posture correction, core strength, injury rehabilitation and pre/postnatal training.
Mat pilates uses your bodyweight on a padded mat, often with small props like resistance bands, blocks and pilates balls. It's the most accessible form of pilates — no heavy equipment, lower price points, and easier to continue at home.
