Dani's sessions were tailored to my needs, offering modifications and adjustments that made me feel safe and supported, whilst pushing me to improve. Her deep knowledge of anatomy and movement, combined with her calm and encouraging teaching style enabled me to develop my core strength and flexibility. Highly recommend to anyone looking to improve their fitness and well-being through Reformer Pilates.
I'd recommend Dani to anybody looking to start their pilates journey or improve their technique. My partner and I first started seeing Dani to complement our running training and her sessions very quickly became an integral part of my week. I saw huge improvement in my body-awareness, posture and strength. And her tailored sessions helped me to feel strong and confident through pregnancy and postpartum. Not only is she a brilliant, caring teaching but thoroughly lovely company. South London's loss is Manchester's gain!
Danipilates offers 2 pilates disciplines. Each one is suited to different goals — read the breakdown below to see which fits.
Reformer pilates is performed on a specialised piece of equipment using adjustable spring resistance. It targets deeper stabilising muscles than mat-based pilates and is widely used for posture correction, core strength, injury rehabilitation and pre/postnatal training.
Mat pilates uses your bodyweight on a padded mat, often with small props like resistance bands, blocks and pilates balls. It's the most accessible form of pilates — no heavy equipment, lower price points, and easier to continue at home.
