Thanks to Natasha I’ve finally found something I enjoy and am sticking to! Every class is different yet it just makes sense - you feel you’re on a journey and the difference is noticeable and real. A Pilates instructor who I can understand and follow with an abundance of patience and knowledge. Highly recommend!
Natasha’s classes are dynamically restorative - the perfect balance of challenge and nurture. The lessons are designed to flow seamlessly and target the whole body. Her eagle eye adjusts form to help us get the full benefit of the exercise and I always leave feeling lighter, with the kinks of a desk-based life reduced & (I hope) stronger.
N Pilates London offers 2 pilates disciplines. Each one is suited to different goals — read the breakdown below to see which fits.
Reformer pilates is performed on a specialised piece of equipment using adjustable spring resistance. It targets deeper stabilising muscles than mat-based pilates and is widely used for posture correction, core strength, injury rehabilitation and pre/postnatal training.
Mat pilates uses your bodyweight on a padded mat, often with small props like resistance bands, blocks and pilates balls. It's the most accessible form of pilates — no heavy equipment, lower price points, and easier to continue at home.

one of the 3 recent reviews mention the instructors in positive terms — words such as "knowledgeable", "attentive" and "encouraging" recur most frequently. Members citing specific cues, form corrections or named instructors is a strong sign of relationship-led teaching rather than transactional class delivery. If instructor depth matters for your decision (particularly for clinical or prenatal-focused pilates), this is a useful positive signal. Practice varies by studio, so confirm the format when you get in touch. As a general guide across UK boutique reformer studios: newcomers are usually pointed to a beginner-tagged class or a 1-1 introduction rather than a mixed-level group, arriving 10-15 minutes early is normal, and grip socks are widely required (some studios sell them for £8-15). Form-fitting clothing lets the instructor see your alignment. The first class is the steepest learning curve — by the third session the equipment feels far more intuitive.
