As a woman in my 60's, I recently discovered that I had osteopenia, and therefore needed to take serious measures to keep my bones healthy and reduce my risk of developing osteoporosis. My weekly attendance at Ian's sessions plays a fundamental role in this endeavour. I started 4 months ago and have experienced noticeable improvements in my strength and flexibility, core stability and balance. Ian has designed a programme tailored for my needs (as he does with everyone) and introduces appropriate variations as I progress, so you never become complacent or bored. I also enjoy the fact that Pilates is a very mindful exercise and a good brain workout as well. The atmosphere in the studio is friendly and supportive with the added bonus of Ian's good humour! I look forward to attending each week and would highly recommend.
