I have learnt so much through Cordelia. I love my sessions with her. My flexibility, core strength and movement has changed and improved significantly
I’ve been going to Cordelia’s classes for four years, even though I’d never exercised before and only started in my early 40s. As a beginner, I really needed someone patient and encouraging, and she’s exactly that. She has a deep knowledge of classical Pilates and always explains each movement clearly, including the purpose behind it. I’ve never had an injury from her classes—if anything, I’ve gotten so much stronger over time. She celebrates every bit of my progress with childlike enthusiasm. She’s also always learning and bringing new ideas into her classes. I absolutely love her classes and can’t recommend her enough.
Cordelia is a gifted teacher whose dedication and expertise has helped me improve my Pilates practice significantly over the 6 years I’ve been training with her. Her classes are dynamic, focused and enjoyable, and her peaceful studio is furnished with a wide range of high quality equipment. Highly recommend.
MadeToMove - Classical Pilates Studio Bramley offers 2 pilates disciplines. Each one is suited to different goals — read the breakdown below to see which fits.
Mat pilates uses your bodyweight on a padded mat, often with small props like resistance bands, blocks and pilates balls. It's the most accessible form of pilates — no heavy equipment, lower price points, and easier to continue at home.
Reformer pilates is performed on a specialised piece of equipment using adjustable spring resistance. It targets deeper stabilising muscles than mat-based pilates and is widely used for posture correction, core strength, injury rehabilitation and pre/postnatal training.

Honest, specific answers about this studio.
one of the 3 recent reviews mention the instructors in positive terms — words such as "knowledgeable", "attentive" and "encouraging" recur most frequently. Members citing specific cues, form corrections or named instructors is a strong sign of relationship-led teaching rather than transactional class delivery. If instructor depth matters for your decision (particularly for clinical or prenatal-focused pilates), this is a useful positive signal. One recent member put it this way: "As a beginner, I really needed someone patient and encouraging, and she’s exactly that." — victoria est.
