This was my first reformer class experience and I’m so glad it was here. The studio is gorgeous and smelt divine! I also really liked the layout as you can easily see the instructor. The class was well-paced with lots of differentiation if you wanted to push yourself or stay where you are. The instructor was so welcoming and encouraging. Her approach was a lovely mix of supportive but also let’s make our legs burn with the pulses, making it a fun atmosphere too! The number of classes and options on the timetable is amazing, making it easy to find one that suited me. So glad this has opened in SBS! 2.12.25 I love Lucy’s classes. I’ve taken two now and find that she gets such a good balance with how she adds layers. She has really built my confidence but also knows how to push me so I feel that I get the most out of my session. I also really enjoy the variation in her classes mixed in with some regular moves. I think this really makes me realise the improvement already. Thank you for the amazing classes! Xxx
The vibe is incredibly welcoming and zero-stress—it’s actually fun to workout here! The instructors are professionals but and very accommodating . I activated muscles I never even knew existed, and my body is definitely feeling the burn in the best way. It has totally ramped up my exercise routine and given me that extra push I needed. Safe to say I’m a returning customer xxx
Studio three19 Reformer Pilates Ltd offers 2 pilates disciplines. Each one is suited to different goals — read the breakdown below to see which fits.
Reformer pilates is performed on a specialised piece of equipment using adjustable spring resistance. It targets deeper stabilising muscles than mat-based pilates and is widely used for posture correction, core strength, injury rehabilitation and pre/postnatal training.
Mat pilates uses your bodyweight on a padded mat, often with small props like resistance bands, blocks and pilates balls. It's the most accessible form of pilates — no heavy equipment, lower price points, and easier to continue at home.

Google lists the studio as open before 7am on at least one weekday and until 8pm or later on another, which usually suits a 9-to-6 working day. Weekend opening is listed too. Opening hours are not the same as the class timetable — check the studio's own schedule before planning around a specific slot. Across UK boutiques, 07:00 and 18:00-19:30 are the busiest times.
Practice varies by studio, so confirm the format when you get in touch. As a general guide across UK boutique reformer studios: newcomers are usually pointed to a beginner-tagged class or a 1-1 introduction rather than a mixed-level group, arriving 10-15 minutes early is normal, and grip socks are widely required (some studios sell them for £8-15). Form-fitting clothing lets the instructor see your alignment. The first class is the steepest learning curve — by the third session the equipment feels far more intuitive.
